Cathy Ballini, Executive Director

Executive Director, Cathy Ballini, comes to River Mills with a wealth of experience in Assisted Living. She was at Benchmark Senior Living for many years as business manager and lastly as Executive Director. 

Seneida Torres, Community Relations Director

Seneida joined Hallkeen Management on July 1st as Community Relations Director for River Mills Assisted Living at Chicopee Falls. Seneida comes with an extensive background in sales and community outreach along with human services. For many years, she has helped families find housing and has even started a small local non-profit (Traveling Vendor Fair) due to her experience in helping her community. Seneida’s relationships within the community will be an asset to the Hallkeen community.

Suzanne Kozikowski, Connections Memory Support Director

Welcome Suzanne Kozikowski, CDP, LN, the new Connections Memory Support Director at our soon-to-open Chicopee community. Suzanne has worked with individuals with memory impairment since graduating from nursing in 1987. Helping individuals with dementia has always been extremely important to her. Implementing a therapeutic and meaningful program, emphasizing a “sense of purpose” for every resident is her goal at River Mills.  

Andy Lopez, Plant Operations Director

Andy joins River Mills Assisted Living with great knowledge and an extensive background in all aspects of Plant Operations such as building and grounds, preventative maintenance, and housekeeping.  His experience brings a great addition to our team! 

Sherrie Gilfor, Resident Care Director

After more than 30 years of direct nursing experience Sherrie Gilfor is excited and overjoyed to start a new adventure as Resident Care Director of River Mills Assisted Living. Sherrie has been proving care in the field most of her life, and knows the time, effort, and the heart that goes into the resident/ care-provider relationship. She can’t wait to translate that knowledge and experience into a directorial role to ensure that all residents are receiving the care they need they deserve.

Julia Hannon, Activities Director

Julia Hannon has worked in eldercare for a number of years and is excited to begin at River Mills as the Activities Director. She believes in the “person-centered” approach to programming, and always strives to connect with each resident on an individual level. Finding the right mix of activities for an individual to connect with and helping to maintain a sense of purpose in their lives here at River Mills, is her goal. She has a true passion for this work and is looking forward to sharing it.
